Get to Know Me
Hi there!

I'm Sophie. I’m a Registered Psychologist and a mum, based in the Illawarra region.

I earned my Bachelor of Science (Psychology) (Honours I) in 2014 and soon began working with children and families in community and government settings as both a psychologist and research assistant. Becoming a parent myself gave me a deeper perspective, leading me to private practice, where I now focus on providing affirming, strengths-based support. More recently, I completed my Master of Psychology Practice (Clinical), further enhancing my expertise in evidence-based, person-centered care.

I’m passionate about creating a safe, validating space for children, teens, and adults. My work is grounded in supporting individuals in understanding their unique strengths and needs rather than focusing on deficits. I have extensive experience helping people navigate trauma, attachment challenges, emotional and behavioral regulation, and the child-caregiver relationship. I also support individuals managing mood disorders, anxiety, and stress, always with a person-centered, collaborative approach.
